Volunteers and interns assist with programs, events, and projects at the Haas-Lilienthal House, as well as the parent organization, San Francisco Heritage. They are integral to the advancement of our mission to educate the public and advocate for preserving San Francisco's architectural and cultural heritage.

Volunteer opportunities range from leading tours as a trained docent, walking tour guides, leading SFUSD student tours, museum support, and special event support.

 

Interns participate in tasks integral to their field of interest such as preservation advocacy, historical research, grant writing, and collections management. Interns typically receive college course credits.
